As a practical tool for the trends of the technology evolution (TRIZ level 3) you will now find a new tool on our website: This Microsoft Excel template is about assessing the actual state of a product with respect to trends in order to derive insights. Paul Mehringer has designed the tool, we have extended it a bit and hereby make it available to the TRIZ community:
In the template, there is a separate tab for each trend, in which up to five evaluators can assess a product with regard to trend fulfillment. Ideas and insights for the further development of the product can then be derived from this. The first tab provides an overview of the assessment of the product, including the deviations of the participants.
